VidCon

VidCon is one of the most popular video creating conventions that gathers the world’s digital creators like YouTubers, Instagram influencers, Twitch streamers, and their fans who are hungry for knowledge. The convention was popular around the world, with the central event in the US taking place in Anaheim.

After COVID-19 happened, the live convention had to close its door, but it came up and running quickly thanks to the new platform called VidCon Now, which provides online sessions for free to the fans and creators around the world.

According to the emerging reports, VidCon announced that its U.S. event will be hosted in the summer of 2021 at the Anaheim Convention Center. It’ll also offer two digital-ticketing options. One will focus on live streams in sessions taking place in Anaheim and on-demand access to Creator Track workshops and keynotes.

It’s still unclear whether VidCon annual event will be held in person, or only through online sessions. That depends on the epidemiology prognosis and other factors. There’s still some time until Summer 2021, so we’ll wait and find out!

PlayList Live

PlayList Live allows networking, connecting, and collaborating with other digital creators and fans through workshops, concerts, online panels, Q&A sessions, and much more. The event is hosted in Orlando, FL with the initial event being scheduled for September 3-5 if the epidemiology measurements allow for it.

The tickets are already available for preorder, with a dedicated counter that counts until the event starts. While the community track and the parent pass will both cost $99, the premium experience ticket is priced at $500.

At the moment, it’s not revealed which digital creators will partake at the event. However, the PlayList Live Twitter account actively interacts with its community and listens to their requests and guestimates.

Social Media Marketing World

Unfortunately, the Social Media Marketing World mega-conference, which sees gathering a lot of digital creators, some of which are popular YouTube celebrities is postponed, until March 2022.

According to the announcement on the convention’s official website, influencers and digital marketers will be joining the conference on March 14-16, 2022.

The Social Media Examiner event was supposed to take place in San Diego from February 28 to March 2, 2021. Still, judging the situation with COVID-19, the event has been postponed.

VidCon Mexico

While VidCon US has been postponed and mostly turned into a digital experience available online for free, VidCon Mexico, another of the most popular YouTube conventions will take place on May 6-9, 2021. Pax Conventions

Pax gaming conventions, held by ReedPop and PennyArcade are some of the most popular gaming conventions that gather digital creators among which are also YouTube gamers. As you may know, there are several PAX gaming conventions and that – PAX South, PAX Aus, PAX East, PAX West, and Unplugged.

The last in-person PAX event that took place was taking place in February at the PAX East event. Now, the PAX East gaming convention will return from June 3rd to June 6th in Boston. PAX West will take place from September 3 to September 6. 2021 will hopefully be unwrapped between December 10 and 12 at PAX Unplugged.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemics, the organizers announced that the next PAX South event will take place in 2022. The information is still not clear about the PAX Australia event. The organizers announced that they will give information about the event soon.

The last PAX West was hosted as an online conference in early September. The organizers have publicly revealed the dates for most of the PAX conventions in the next months. However, as time passes and the number of infected people changes, more information will be disclosed at the event.

Considering that the PAX West was hosted online if the situation will be bad, it’s plausible that other events could go online too.
