Early users remember the pain and annoyance of having to post photos or videos one by one. In many ways, even though Facebook owns Instagram, you can’t simply create a photo album and dump all of the photos at once.

How to Post Multiple Photos on Your Instagram Feed
As mentioned earlier, you can upload up to 10 photos inside the same post that’ll be posted to your feed. The steps follow:
Step 1: Tap the plus icon located at the bottom of the screen to enter the photo gallery, the same as you’d do with uploading the single photo.
Step 2: At the bottom of the featured photo in the gallery, you can select a few settings. The farthest right icon which looks like a bunch of squares layered together marks that you can select multiple photos. Tap it.
Step 3: You can select up to 10 photos (or videos) inside the library. Every time you select a photo, it appears as the featured photo where you can adjust how much of the photo you want to crop or expose.
Step 4: Tap next and select the filters you want to apply to each photo. The filter is applied individually, so you’ll have to select the photos individually. You can also edit the order of the photos by holding one and dragging it into the spot ahead or behind another. It’s also similar to deleting the photos.
Step 4: Finally, you select the location and caption for your entire post and tap the Share button.
Keep in mind that once you post multiple photos, you can only edit the post in its entirety. It’s also too late to remove some photos from the post. You’ll have to remove the entire post.
How to Post Multiple Photos on Instagram Stories
The process of adding multiple photos to your story is similar to adding them to feed. Here’s how.
Step 1: Press to add a story and open the photo library.
Step 2: Long tap on one of the photos which will allow you to select up to 10 photos to upload.
Step 3: Once you tapped all photos you want to post to your story, you’ll be able to swipe between the selected photos to change filters, add effects like polls, gifs, and questions, or input a text.
Step 4: Share your story.
You can’t edit stories once that you share them. However, unlike posts with multiple photos where you can’t remove a photo after sharing, you can remove any story that contains the photo you don’t want to be seen.
